Born in India and raised by Artists.
My life and professional career has been shaped by some of the phenomenal artists, who developed my perception towards the world around.
In my process to grow from rookie to a pro, Mr. Anil Kullarwar instilled in me the virtue, most important for any and every artist - Patience. An apt mentor for my kind that he is, I’ll always cherish a desire to groom myself to be as intelligent, diligent and kind as him and his craft.
Visual art is all about play of lights and shadows and who better could I learn it from than veteran photographer Mr. Satish Parab. ‘The Lensman’ , made sure that I got the basics right in the place. He also paved the path for me into commercial photography (Advertising). Will always miss you!
In early 2001, I gradually moved from commercial photography to enter a new arena that was super attractive, super creative and super challenging - Visual Effects. The bug bit me quite early, when the industry had just started blooming and I have been part of it since then, delivering some alluring projects.
I enjoy discussing and teaching my craft, especially the concept of ’Lighting’., to young and ambitious minds. I occasionally engage with groups over a creative project.
On weekends, I’m usually baking bread or defending my title against my son at lawn tennis or improving the vocabulary of my grey parrots. As a family, we love to backpack and visit pristine places as often as we can. I’ve loved the journey so far and there’s a lot to be seen!
This website is a small recollection of my memories and my craft, that I have gathered so far and the quest and hunger for more continues.
